Very good App.

Very good app. Its the best one to me, but we could choose to listen to the ascending scale OR descending scale, and not both at the same time. Thanks for that app.

Needs improvement!

It is very confusing. Although there are many scales and chords, its hard to find them. Id like to see a search function where you can enter a chord, like Csus4 and get the notes. But first, we need the chords and scales displayed on a staff!

A brilliant app

I love this app. I emailed the developer a few months ago to suggest he include a North American style of formatting chords and he did! Top marks. :)

Musician & arranger

It needs chord analysis and the scales for them like : V7/II in the Key of C takes Eb Lydian b7 etc... Imaj7 #5 takes so,so

Great

Thanks a lot.

Great

Cool

Cool, but...

Please end the scales and such on the ONE! Otherwise its just musically frustrating.

Great scale and chord app

Great music app, masterful selection of relevant information. If this had a repeat function for listening to the chords and scales it would be an easy 5. I cant get the scale or chord in one listen, I need to hear it again and again, preferably in a loop. Pressing the screen repeatedly gets dull. Also those who find the current ending frustrating can end the loop when they like.

Great for the Musician AND the composer

This is great for music majors, music teachers, composers or anyone in a musical field. I feel this will help me branch out more and improve on my composition skills.

One problem

On the scales you dont include the last note for some reason. For instance you say the c major scale is c d e f g a b. You never finish the octave and it gets confusing. Fix this and Ill give this 5 stars.

Tonic

In the listening, I want the 8 note of the scales, or the tonic. Please fix.

was already a great app and just got better!!!

Thanks for the long awaited update. Great Referance Tool for any musician. "An Absolute Must Have" for Serious Song Writers and Composers. There are many great music applications that advocate the culture of music on the app store; but if you are a serious musician you understand how important a reference tool like this is. If you have not bought this app do yourself a great favor and get it. i could go on and on how long ive been awaiting a reference tool like this; i just hope others will find it and for the price you cannot beat it. i have payed way more for books that arent half as nice or near in comparrison as for as content or features.Great Job Once Again Alberto, you need to get this app back on the front pages for those who missed it when it first came out.

Very useful

Thanks for this app as a musician this s very usefull...definetly a must have.

I wish I had this in college

This is great, thanks!

Just Two More Things...

This is awesome. Im doing all of the CM tests right now and Im sure this will come in handy. Just two more things would make it perfect: 1. A better GUI. A better organizational method would be nice. 2. Make it a universal app so I can download it on my iPhone. Keep developing!

Fix

I just purchased the app, and I havent finished looking at everything, but I noticed the Cb Major scale has a wrong pitch. Please fix it!! :)

Dubstep

I am a huge music and dubstep fan. I have spent over $100 in music apps alone now so my opinion does matter. This is the best dubstep app Ive seen so far, but needs some updates. My suggestion is to bring this app in the direction Easy Beats is going and this will kill fo sho!

Its #4 not 4#

It drives me crazy hat the author of this app neglected the convention for chord notation. Ive never seen the accidental come after the number unless on a students assignment. Its Gm7b5 not Gm75b. Get with it!

Not bad.

Its got a few bugs (info link works irregularly or doesnt appear, audio engine buffer fills up quickly), but is a good concept and works 98% of the time. Wish you could control how fast the notes play, and it would be nice to hear the (unarpeggiated) chords. Good job.

Dominant7

Where the hell are the Dominant7 chords? Seriously?!! How could you have these? Im looking for the the scale for A7, E7, and Bdim7 and I cant find it. Come oooooooonnnn!
